Larry C. Smith
Larry is a native of Durham, attended Durham public schools and graduated from Campbell University in 1988. While working as a police officer in Durham, NC, he obtained his real estate license in 1994 after purchasing his first home and being overwhelmed with the paperwork and process of buying a home. He continued his law enforcement career and retired from the Durham Police Dept. in 2016 as Interim Police Chief. He remains in contact with law enforcement and they hold a special place in his heart. This is why Bordeaux Smith Realty offers a special commission rate for active and retired military and first responders to include 911 communicators.

Larry is the Broker In Charge at Bordeaux Smith Realty and also volunteers at his church and other volunteer organizations. He has been married to Tammy Bordeaux Smith since 1989. They have two grown sons and two wonderful daughters in law.

Tammy Bordeaux Smith
After nearly 30 years as a Registered Nurse taking care of our Veterans, Tammy entered into real estate after her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and came to live with her. Licensed in 2008, she fell in love with the real estate business! Every buyer and seller have a unique story and she has been honored to help find first time home buyers the perfect home, sell family homes after parents have passed away, and sell homes for children of her friends and family. She counts it a great privilege for seller and buyers to put their trust in her to guide them through the biggest transactions of their lives. She believes two of the most important qualities a Realtor can have is Integrity and Responsiveness.
She married Larry Smith in 1989 and they have 2 grown boys and 2 lovely daughters in law.
After receiving her real estate license, she went on to acquire the Strategic Pricing Specialist Designation (SPS) as well as earning the Graduate, Realtor Institute Designation (GRI) .

Aaron Brown
Aaron comes to Bordeaux Smith following a successful 10-year stint as a local baseball coach at numerous levels. Having bought and sold real estate for himself, Aaron grew intrigued with the process and the potential of helping others achieve their real estate goals and receive the highest quality of service!! “I believe that our clients should be the priority in a real estate transaction. We should be open, honest, and available to our clients at all times. These are relationships, not merely transactions”. Aaron works hard with his clients to find the best properties to fit their needs and budget, get top dollar when selling, answer and explain any questions, and always provide timely responses to any inquires.
A native of Greenville (NC), Aaron was raised in Durham, NC. He currently lives in Chapel Hill with his wife Hillary and 3 young children. Aaron volunteers in his church by sitting on several ministry teams and also volunteers his time to local youth baseball organizations. When not working a real estate deal, Aaron can be found on a ballfield or watching over his barbeque pit.”
